| Upon completion of your vehicles repairs the repair facility will receive prompt payment for all authorized repairs. You may pick any licensed repair facility in the United States and make as many claims for repair in accordance with your Vehicle service contract. |

Vehicle Protection of America does not perform or require any inspection of your vehicle in order to activate your Vehicle Service Contract. The purpose of this Service Policy is not intended to repair or fix any problem that exists prior to your purchasing the Vehicle Service Contract.
If it is determined there are pre-existing repair problems the repair will not be covered by the Vehicle Service Contract administrator. The repair problem is often determined by the repair facility or the vehicle administrator. Pre-existing repair issues usually are limited to a short duration of time soon after the policy becomes activated.

Repairs on all assemblies and parts are covered on Your Vehicle with the exception of the following list of WHAT IS NOT COVERED:
Paint, carpet, bright metal, trim, sheet metal, bumpers, body panels, glass, physical damage, molding, upholstery, lenses, sealed beams, light bulbs, fuses, circuit breakers, cellular phones, television/VCR/DVD players, game centers, AM/FM radio/cassette/CD players and speakers exceeding three hundred dollars ($300) repair or replacement costs, audio/video equipment, all touch screen and/or voice activated accessories including related display screens and heads up displays on windshields, electronic transmitting/receiving devices, navigation systems, voice recognition systems, remote control consoles, radar detection devices, weather-strips, all exhaust components, the following emission components: purge valve/solenoids/sensors, vacuum canister, vapor return canister, vapor return lines/valves, air pump/lines/valves, emission vapor sensors, gas cap/filler neck, catalytic converter, battery, battery cables/harness, spark plub wires, fan belts, non metallic hoses, distributor cap and rotor, shock absorbers, manual/hydraulic clutch assembly, friction clutch disc and pressure plate, weather strips, trim, outside ornamentation, frame and structural body parts, vinyl and convertible tops, canvas top, any convertible top assemblies, fabric top, fiberglass top, hardware or linkages, tires, wheel/rims, wheel balances, safety restraint systems (including air bags), air and water leaks, wind noise, squeaks, rattles, all maintenance services including alignments, brake pads and shoes, brake rotors and drums, tune ups, coolants, lubricants.
ADDITIONAL COVERAGE OPTIONS:
FACTORY INSTALLED NAVIGATION SYSTEM: If the Contract Registration Page indicates that You purchased the Navigation System option, we will cover the Navigation System excluded above.

The coverage provided by this service contract supplements the new vehicle warranty provided by the vehicle manufacturer to the original owner of the covered vehicle. After the expiration of the new vehicle warranty and before the expiration of this service contract, ACSC will, upon payment of the deductible amount per visit selected on the front of this service contract, make any necessary repairs to the vehicle, excepting any parts and Mechanical Breakdowns listed under the sections of this service contract entitled “What Is Not a Covered Part” and “Exclusions - What This Vehicle Service Contract Does Not Cover”. Use of non-original manufacturer’s parts in covered repairs is allowed.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
The following parts are not covered by this service contract: paint and carpeting; manual/hydraulic clutch assembly; trim; hoses and rubber parts; canvas, vinyl, fabric or fiberglass tops; moldings; distributor cap/rotor; tires/wheels; air bag/supplemental restraint systems; lenses; battery and cables; all maintenance service and items, such as alignments, wheel balances, struts and shocks, engine tune-ups, EGR valve, oxygen sensors, window regulators, seat regulators, fuel regulators, spark/glow plugs, plug wires, brake pads, linings and shoes, filters, lubricants, coolants, thermostat, hoses and belts; bright metal; light bulbs and headlights; video; audio; exhaust system; weather stripping; body panels; brake rotor/drums; shop supplies and hazardous waste removal; blend motors and doors, buttons, handles and door hinges; glass; service adjustments, and cleaning.

This coverage supplements the vehicle's protection provided under a new vehicle warranty from the manufacturer. Included in this coverage is the replacement of covered componenets resulting from the gradual wear and use when the wear exceeds manufacturer's specifications. Platinum coverage will cover necessary repairs to your vehicle's mechanical and electrical systems except for items shown in a short esclusions list.
EXCLUSIONS
Routine maintenance items such as oil, cooland, fluids, refrigerant, and others are not covered. Items that routinely need replacement such as the battery, tires, brake pads, brade drums, brake shoes, exhaust sytem, and shock absorbers are not covered. Appearance concerns and exterior items such as bright metal, vinyl, ornaments, wheel covers, and paint are not covered. Interior items such as upholstery, buttons, carpet, door and window and handles are not covered. |
